Our data suggest that tPA-MRs overcome the limitations of thrombolytic therapy with tPA alone, which may be not only just for the treatment of ischemic stroke but also have majorly impact on other thrombotic diseases. Importantly, intravenously injected MRs could be discharged from the kidney, and the function of liver and kidney were not damaged at different durations after administration of tPA-MRs. When applied with an external rotating magnetic field, rotating tPA-MRs significantly improved not only the mass transport of the tPA-clot reaction, but also mechanically disrupted the clot network, which thus increased clot interaction and penetration of tPA. We showed that intra-arterial injection of tPA-MRs could target the cerebral blood clot in vivo under the guidance of an external magnet, where tPA was subsequently released at the site of embolism. Here, we developed a new strategy by incorporating tPA into porous magnetic iron oxide (Fe 3O 4)-microrods (tPA-MRs) for targeted thrombolytic therapy in ischemic stroke induced by distal middle cerebral artery occlusion.

Why Google abandoned Picasa, I can only guess. I still have Picasa in a zipped folder but, alas, I think it's wishful thinking that I'll ever be able to use it again as long as I use PSE2018 on W10. I deleted the hidden files and, reluctantly, uninstalled Picasa (I also deleted the hidden files created by Canon ZoomBrowser). It's well documented in this and Adobe forums all the problems I had with it and my Pictures folder.īy chance, I happened to turn on hidden files and found countless files that Picasa had created though the years that were in the My Pictures folder backups. When PS CS 3 no longer worked properly when I bought a W10 laptop (used W7 prior to that), I bought PS Elements 2018 because I work with layers. I want software on my desktop that allows me to do what I found simple and straightforward with Picasa from within the software, including emailing a single photo or emailing a group of photos. I'm not talking about Picasaweb (which I also used, but was killed off awhile back). I would pay for an updated fully-functional Picasa, or software that does what it did. I have a feeling that those who criticize Picasa didn't use it the way I did.in combination with Photoshop, Picasa was, and in some ways, remains.excellent. Google is finally killing off Picasa's functionality as far as living in the space between desktop and cloud-as of a couple of days ago it became impossible to sign into my gmail account from within Picasa. My go-to desktop do-it-all for all things photos, though, has been, for years.Picasa. I am a reasonably competent user of Photoshop (CS3, to be precise).
